Last week, SLA highlighted Chili&Wok’s efforts to reduce food waste. Chili&Wok is one of seven establishments in Skövde that have so far joined the food waste app “Too Good To Go.” There, they sell leftover food that would otherwise have ended up in the trash at a lower price.
“We used to throw away quite a lot of food because we have a buffet, and it always made me feel so sad,” says restaurant manager Susanna Ly.
